Vs. Nevada

Finally the staff saw what rotation works. The five that played most of the second half and first OT should be our lineup, with Moemeka taking some 4/5 minutes, Kelly and Redding taking a couple as well. When we went head to head with our "positionless" guys, we took it right to them. I pray that this is what happens for the rest of the year

That's twice Herron hasn't closed out to his shooter and both times they've drained 18 footers.

Damn him.

Hell of a finish. I only caught the very end of the first overtime to the end of the game, but hard to not be pleased.

Strange question, but where were the ESPN announcers? Aren't they usually at that table at center-court opposite the scorers table and benches? That area looked empty tonight.

Well it wasn't the USU first half and BSU second half but it was the most complete game of the year by far.

+1 If this is the team we see the rest of the year, the Pokes could make some noise in the tourney. Great effort.

What a game!! That lineup we played most of the end of the game with was great but we can't just ride those 5 the whole season. That's why the subs were getting plenty of playing time especially in the first half. Edwards has stated he wants to get our main guys some rest cuz its a long season. We never blow anyone out so we don't have scrub time. Liked the energy Budha brought last night he has earned some time. I like having Kelly out their but there are some games like last night he can't match up with the other team so his role is reduced. I really thought Edwards coached a great game and liked the sub pattern.

After the apparent missed call on the Nevada 3 shot at the end of regulation it sure seemed like the refs tried to make up for it by giving them the game. The phantom 5th foul on JJ, not calling fouls for Lou, them needing to knock down 2 of our players before they would call a charge but great way to stick with it and pull it out. Was a street fight.

Excellent win!

Good job, Pokes! Happy to hand Muscleman an L. He and several of his players went ape and didn't get T'd up. How?? He treats the refs like crap constantly and nothing. Take your L, you midget.

I wondered. That's pretty lame.

I realize it was a weekday game and a 9 PM tip but the AA looked really empty for a conference game against a ranked team. Hope this W gets more people out to the home games and ditto for the Cowgirls.
