Man, gotta love this guy!

Wyoming may be hurting next year, but we're on the right track!

Yeah, I'm curious as to what other schools were interested and in contact with Coach Bohl. There have been a group of Cornhuskers fans tweeting about their wishes for him to come back to Lincoln. Sorry, they can keep Bo.

Interesting comments about Smith/Thompson. Good luck to Brett. I find it kind of interesting, though, that Brett removed any comment about quarterbacking at Wyoming from his Twitter description. Rear-view mirror stuff, I guess.

I've heard Northern Illinois and Minnesota
Well, seeing that Bohl beat Minnesota twice as head coach at NDSU, I can see why they might take a serious look at him.

I'm glad to see that Bohl mentions a lot of QB recruit interest in Wyoming with a good pool of talent out there. Someone named "KU4LIFE" over on GWG listed a group of these QB prospects. I just hope that Bohl and his staff don't step on any toes at NDSU during the recruiting process as they are "keeping a close eye on the former Bison head football coach". :thumb:

For those who haven't seen it, here is the YouTube video of Bohl's presser uploaded by UW athletics yesterday. An articulate and confident guy.

Watching that made me want to strap it on!!!

You seem to be truly inspired, so let's see if the ASA coaches can nudge everyone along regarding Bohl's/Vigen's choice of Aaron Young. Here are recent tweets from Vorel:

*ASA College HC Dennis Orlando on Aaron Young: "He's a bona fide Division I QB. You guys are getting a steal."

*After talking to ASA College HC and OC, seems Young's best asset is mental. Can immediately enter program and absorb playbook.

*OC Chris Boden RE Young: "After the first month here, it was like he’d been here for three years. He knew the offense in and out."

You're liking these comments, correct?

I like the comments, What I really like is Bohl didn't try to blow any smoke. He said these are the 4 things were going to focus on and we will accomplish those. I have felt like since Glenn left S & C has become a thing that no one put much focus on.

Our team was always gassed and always injured. I'm not looking through Brown & Gold. I expect 1 so so year in 2014 win some by pure defense keeping us in the game. When 2014 ends and the senior class is gone 2015 will be a huge struggle and I don't honestly expect a good year defensively and with some solid wins until 2016. Two years minimum to get some people in here that want to be here.

But I'm a Cowboy fan and I'll always be one just because the team is going to enter yet another rebuilding period doesn't make me like them any less. One thing I can tell you is I'll be here for the long haul and I think this coach is going to surprise a lot of people.

The best part about him is either he truly wants to be in Wyoming or is the best liar I have ever seen. DC didn't want to be in Wyoming and you could tell it. Glenn I think wanted to be in Wyoming but I just don't think he was as good of a HC as he was pure defensive coordinator.

I'm with you Wyo2dal, but I think we are going to be competing before you think we will. By the end of this coming season, people aren't going to want to play us.

I like Bohl's competitive spirit. No reason to write this season off at all. Compete in every game.

I'd rather see them win three or four games with the rest of the losses close than win five or six with a lot of blowout losses.
