-Both Miller and Stover sustained injuries.....nothing serious though. Hope they don't get push too hard.

-Cowboys offense running the option more often. I'd hope with QBs not named Brett Smith. He's put in danger enough.

-What a unique approach to practice highlights.....with Vorel using Vine. Very cool, never seen that before.

Question....are those practice jerseys, or does Wyoming have new home uniforms?

I believe those are the new home unis. They wore them against SDSU last season. Hopefully they put nameplates on the back of them before the first game, though.

From Vorel....

Kaligis embraces his players

One thing that immediately stands out at practice is that Co-Offensive Coordinator Pete Kaligis loves his players, and his players love him back.

During Thursday's practice, Kaligis shouted, "I love you, Pokes! Keep working!" as the running backs sprinted past him in drills.

On Friday, Kaligis clearly approved of the way sophomore Shaun Wick was performing in 11-on-11 drills. When Wick finally reached the sideline, Kaligis threw his arms around him, yelling encouragement as he wrapped him up in a bear hug.

His players clearly love to play for Kaligis, and that should allow him to get the best out of them when the season starts on Aug. 31.
