UW Picked 4th in the Mountain Division...

Wyoming will never get much love from the media who votes on this stuff. Despite all the starters we have coming back and all. Glad that at least Yarbrough made the preseason MWC team. Thought that out of Stanton, Wick, Jake Jones and Rufran one of those guys should of also made the squad. Oh well, until we can win the games we are supposed to win and pull an upset or two it's probably where we belong.
 
Call me an optimist but I think we start the season 3-1 with wins over Montana, Air Force and Florida Atlantic. Hopefully we can put up good showings without getting hurt in Oregon and Michigan before we go beat the hell out of a terrible Hawaii team to put us at 4-2. The season hinges on the next two games. I think we win them both, but we absolutely have to win that home game against SJSU and then I'm never going to pick csu so I'm calling them both wins. Then I'm hoping to tread water or even steal a win against the trio of Fresno, USU and Boise before winning in Albuquerque to get to 7 wins and go Bohl-ing. The early litmus test will be Air Force. If we handle the zoomies I think our boys can get to 7 or 8 wins. I have too many guns in the house to be pessimistic.

Why the surprise? Not like we've done anything to warrant a higher ranking.. We lost to all 3 ranked ahead of us - by a ton.
