USU's Collette to transfer

Wow, he really screwed himself too, by playing in the 2 exhibition games, he just burned a year of eligibility. Plus, considering he already used his redshirt year, if he tried to transfer to another D-1, he will only have 1 season of eligibility left.

Not entirely true. Exhibitions have nothing to do with eligibility. Which is why Conway and Moemeka can still redshirt. If he transfers at the end of the semester, he'll have to be at his new school for 1 calendar year before he can play. That means he will miss this whole year and half of next year. Since he's already used his redshirt, he will only have 1.5 years of elibility remaining.

I feel bad for utah state...

Yeah, they took it out. The bio had a section for 2015-2016 that said something along the lines of "left team two days before season started".
