USU's Collette to transfer

I thought you fans over here would be happy to hear the David Collette told the program he is quitting today.
I know that many other fans disliked him, so you should be happy he is no longer on the team.
No solid knowledge yet as to where he is transferring. But it sounds like it might be to Utah.

Looking forward to the season.

Delete or move if this is not wanted.
 
He should transfer to an assisted living retirement facility. He gets the senior discount when he goes out to eat.
 
Geez. I hated Collette, but he was very, very good. The type of player I hate, but would love to have on my team. That's a big blow to the Aggies.

:lol: :lol: I agree with that statement. I'm kind of disappointed he is leaving. I was looking forward to yelling "Collette, by the time you graduate you'll be on AARP" at him this year.

Really sucks to lose a player this way. Collette is a damn good player. I could only imagine how bad it would be if Josh Adams decided to take off.
 
Sounds like BYU for sure. They like to shake your hand whilst the other one is in your back pocket.

That slimy move they pulled on us when they left the conference was a good example. USU was part of that and now they are the recipient.

Utah politics!
 
A lot to the back story.

From news I have heard and a someone close to USU athletic dept....FWIW:

-Collette came to USU. His heart was on BYU and they didn't need him there (at the time), and no go
-Collette didn't care for new USU coach and the loss the other night was a BAD one. (PS-Stew was right behind the bench.)
-He wants to play in a big conf. BYU isn't in a big conf. May pop up at U of U. (Still maybe BYU, but I would doubt it)
-Several players said he was a head case. Always arguing with players, coaches, refs, etc. (This is obvious one)

I actually found it funny. Rumor has it, he had every intention of leaving anyway. Why he waited until the season started and screwed other guys from practice time I don't know. He crapped on the Univ. I am ok with the website.
