It appears that Bryce Meredith's win over Dean Heil has caused Heil to lose confidence and has set him into an unprecedented collapse for a 2-time defending National Champion. Normally, I would never root for someone to suffer such a collapse...Heil is an exception as he is the biggest staller in the wrestling world. Keep in mind that until Meredith beat Heil, Heil had not lost a match in over 2 years.
Since Meredith beat Heil, Heil has then:
Lost to #2 Kevin Jack of NCST 4-3
Pinned by #3 Jayden Eierman of Missouri
and now Lost to UNRANKED Ian Parker of Iowa State 3-1
Who is Ian Parker? He is a former 133 lber who Montorie Bridges had beat earlier in the season. At this rate, a Meredith v. Heil rematch could be in the second round of the Big 12s
