what's everyone think, i think we can pull one out against a underperfoming Runnin Rebels squad, but we usually have issues playing at the T&M in LV, except for that wonderful visit last March! hopefully Josh goes for 30+ and take that MO from this win if it were to happen and roll into the MWC Tourney again this year, GO POKES, time for the rally to begin
 
UNLV is a much different team than when we first played them on 1/9/16. They are no SDSU though - so we should compete.
 
Depends a lot also on who they have playing. They played their last game with 6 scholarship players. Zimmerman, Carter and Morgan were all out. Seagars has also been playing injured with a hurt foot.

We have a chance if we are hot from 3 point land.
 
Zimmerman had a decent game in the first game, but if he plays to his potential our bigs could have their hands full. If we can light it up from outside, it should be a good game.

Fresno had a handful of their players gone too and still shithoused us
 
Not sure we can win this one. I'd love to see the Pokes make a statement game out of it. Let the Rebs know we can win in their house when it counts. Could be a good feeling if we manage to see in em in the tourney. Still worried about their athleticism particularly on D. We'll need good ball movement to beat these guys again.

Yeah. I never said we would win. Just basically am saying we have a better chance with more of their players out since we are playing them on the road than if they had everyone. Looks like Zimmerman will be back but Seagars will be out.
 
I'm back - I read a post by someone on Wednesday after a tough loss, that "DavidWyo" was posting too much, must've been that adderall, :rofl: . So I initiated a self imposed three day hiatus - an went back to my AA classes to find support for my new addiction, but it only lasted three days, I'm back, :o

We haven't beaten UNLV in Vegas since 2003 - I know we all say these are big games but if the Pokes lose tonight, they are guaranteed a #8 or #9 seed - hopefully they fall to #10 seed to give us a 4.72% shot at winning the Tourney and a better path.

Anyone in Vegas or going to Vegas? The game is on ESPN3
 
I can't believe not one bar in this town streams ESPN3 content what good is a sports bar that doesn't cover ESPN3 content. Really wanted to go have some drinks and watch us beat UNLV instead of sitting at home.

I feel your pain, dammit.

Reality says it's tough to win on the road in the MWC. The optimist in me says I think we win (although I broke several pair of brown and gold glasses between football season and now.) What I really want is for this team to show up and play well the rest of this season.
 
Nearly everyone on our team needs to just practice free throws non stop. We were better earlier on the year but we absolutely suck now.

I was just gonna say why can't Gorski hit FT's???? He's a damn guard! Can't go 1-4 as guard from the line eva.
 
Some really questionable calls by the refs tonight. Hall might be out there in disguise.

We're playing like complete shit, basically a continuation of the SDSU game.
 
I don't like how we're just looking just so so heading into the tourney. Was really hoping we'd be playing a little more consistent or better then this. We've seen that the Pokes can look extremely dangerous but playing this inconsistent how can we possibly win more then 2 games in the MWC tourney???
