UNLV game

UNLV generally has among the best in the MWC when it comes to raw talent.... They struggle with continuity year to year, and teams that come in with a plan.... And Edwards style is right up there alley.
 
10 down at 1/2. Not bad considering we are getting nothing from Dalton. Gorksi's shot starting to fall. I like that we made a run to make the second 1/2 interesting.

Maybe they need to add a few of the Cowgirls to the team - 12 of 15 from three in the first half yesterday. They can seemingly shoot better than their male counterparts.
 
Justin James shot 6-23 and 2-9 from 3. Alan Herndon was 0-6 from 3. Herndon should never shoot out there. I'm tired of watching him clang up the 3's.
 
It would help if we'd come ready to play. Holy crap. We ran out of gas and momentum after we had to play catch up yet again.

Herndon needs to get down low and only shoot like one three a game just to keep the defenders honest. JJ had stinker of a game. He needs to get stronger taking it to the hole. How many times did he get penetration only to have it poked away?

Wish we could get a big guy like McCoy or Juiston. Maybe some day soon. Screw having your bigs shoot 3s
