There wont even be a FBS soon. There will be a couple of super conferences and a handful of independents who make up the top 30 or 40 teams. The rest of college football will also settle into different tiers than those that are present now. It will be a bumpy ride for several years.

And not a team that left the MW will ever play for a natty let alone qualify for the 12 team playoff. Not sure what’s gained.
