and how important it would be not to be in the bottom 3. CSU needs to lose tonite that's for sure and hopefully lose @ AF.

If we can somehow beat UNLV in vegas and SDSU take care of TCU in Ft Worth, it would be a three way tie for 4th assuming CSU beats AF in Colorado springs and loses it's first home game against UNLV.

Be tough for the cowboys to play UNLV/UNM/SDSU in a first round game but whatever. They're going to have to beat some teams to win the tourney. Would rather have a TCU/CSU first rounder than the others.
 
The main thing we want is for Wyoming to be on the opposite side of the bracket of UNLV for the MWC tournament. I'm not scared of playing San Diego St. or New Mexico as I think it will be tough for both of those teams to beat WYoming a 3rd time. Wyoming can beat both of them and it would be easier than having to beat UNLV on their home floor.

I think that scenario gives us the best chance to get into the championship game where anything can happen.

So for that to happen we need UNLV to beat CSU which would mean that if UNLV beats Wyoming on Saturday then UNLV is the # 1 seed and Wyoming is the # 6 seed which puts us on opposides of the bracket or if Wyoming were to beat UNLV Wyoming would be the 5th place team and UNLV would be either 2nd or 3rd which would mean they are on the opposite side of the bracket.

This is assuming CSU beats Air Force on Saturday.

The main thing we need tonight is a UNLV victory over the rams.
 
i think it sucks for us to have to play UNLV the last game of the schedule right b4 tourney, but hey, let them beat us then we shock the world again come tourney time??? we'll see what happens
