It is 2011. I can see a party being busted by the police in Fort Collins on the Internet in real time. I can find out about news from nearly angle within minutes of the event actually occurring. Yet, I cannot watch the Weber State @ Wyoming game on TV.
Whenever the MWC renegotiates their TV contract, online streaming is a must. If the TV partner should chose not to do it, we need a clause saying the conference can or the university can.
I'll be at the game on Saturday. I have season tickets. But in this day and age, there is absolutely no reason someone shouldn't be able to see this game, whether they have cable tv, satellite, or none of the above.
We helped pioneer conference tv. Now its time to get it to the masses over the Internet. I want to watch the game from my cell phone in a coffee shop in India!
Just my gripe for the evening.
