TV Schedule for next year released

I've said this 100 times Wyoming does not have a national following but SDSU and BSU both do. We are back to 2-3 Max games a year televised and of the 3 games 2 of them are likely to be on ESPN3 online streaming.

There is nothing good about this you remember before the Mtn network when we never had televised games other then some lame ass Tuesday night game. Those are the days we are being forced back into, Look I love Wyoming and I will always be a Wyoming fan but it doesn't matter what we think about Wyoming as fans it matters what the nation thinks about Wyoming and they have spoken loud and clear with our 1 fucking game the most fucking pathetic part about the 1 game it's not a Wyoming televised game it's a BSU televised game who is playing Wyoming.

Total BS there is nothing good about this in fact it puts us behind where we were in the WAC.

Not to rain on your parade, but I'm not buying the SDSU has a national following. They have a large media market and that is it. They fudge attendance figures and have a smaller fan base than Wyoming....yes, they do.

In regards to being on tv 2-3 times max.....we have no idea. However, I believe there is a very good chance Wyoming games will be picked up by ROOT or Altitude. If not, there is always ESPN gameday. Both of which have better national coverage than the MTN.

Lastly, has Wyoming ever played on a Tuesday night? We've played Thursday and Saturday games mainly, with one or two Friday games mixed in there. I'm only bringing this up because you are stretching in some respects to show your frustration...which I can understand (the frustration part).

Ouch...well stated. The Mtn. posed issues for some schools, but was very good to Wyoming fans. Disappointing to see this happen. Hopefully Hair Thompson can pull things together T.V. wise for the MW in a year or two, but I ain't holding my breath....

After looking at the schedule and reading about the subject wherever I can find information, I'm still curious on one thing regarding the Mountain West Conference's current tv deal; espn is now airing Mountain West home games. To my knowledge, this is an entirely new deal, is it not? Are there legit links from major news outlets to info about how, when and why espn can now carry MW home games?

I'm seeing:
9/14 Wash St. at UNLV on espn
9/20 BYU at Boise St. on espn
11/16 Hawaii at Boise St. on espn
12/1 Boise St. at Nevada on ABC or espn or espn2

Granted, there are only four, which is pathetic, but to me this is huge. And along with others who hope that ROOT or Altitude pick up other Wyoming games, I'm hopeful that espn streams over the internet other Mountain West games on WatchESPN (espn3).

I have never been a fan of the MTN. I realize that its existence at one point greatly helped small market teams like Wyoming to show games; but through the years, the lack of distribution, lack of production values and lack of on-air talent (not counting James Bates) made this channel more of a problem to the conference as a whole than a reasonable alternative to telling espn to kindly go fist themselves... in my opinion.

Tuesday or Thursday it's the same thing who knows I might have Basketball night confused with Football night but it was still only one night and it sucked at that. Root sports picked up Wyoming games when they played against Colorado schools so ya we might get 1-2 games from root.

Sorry but the Mtn Network was the best thing for Wyoming. SDSU as a whole were talking all sports has a much larger national following then Wyoming like it or not.

Bottom line 2011: 9 games on TV
2012: 1 game

I'll take themtn any day over what we will get in 2012!!!
