Band folk are rowdy sum bitches. This one time, at band camp...

This. This is truth. I was one of those band folks at UW, admittedly a little less rowdy than some of my compatriots, but I can attest to the fact that band kids are pretty rowdy. And the initiation rites are ever present, or at least were in my day. They didn't always involve alcohol, but many did. Most of the time it was good-natured fun, but it definitely got a little out of hand at times.

My guess is this was really pretty innocent, and the "lewd actions" were probably relatively tame. But since they used the word "initiation" it has to prompt investigation and disciplinary action. Will be interesting to see what the Bobcats band does Saturday. Drumline is a critical component of any band, and if they're marching that will leave a huge hole.

my buddy was in the band too and he used to swipe the opposing teams footballs he would snag one then march during the performance with a football tucked in his uniform he still has a SDSU and BYU ball, he had an Air Force ball but got caught trying to steal that one, funny stuff
