As a Cowboys fan, I’m wishing byu nothing but the worst. Looking forward to BYU’s last place big 12 finishes.
While Wyoming will undoubtedly lose on Saturday and the game won’t be close given our coaching staff, I can find solace in the fact that hopefully this is the last time we have to deal with your fanbase.

I hate byu with every fiber of my being. I hope they lose every game for the rest of time. That being said your approach is appreciated. If you're coming to the game I hope you have a good time and travel safely.

It won't be. The ADs of both schools have agreed to keep the series going. You guys were kind enough to play us during independence and we owe it to your school to return the favor.

100% trolling, this is nothing by passive/aggressive BYU audacity of being better than the rest of us. I grew up in the heart of this stuff. We are looked down upon, and not to considered to be considered as equal. There is nothing sincere about any of the information that started this thread.

My understanding is that Holmoe attempted to buy out this game in Laramie once BYU joined the Big 12. BYU was basically forced to keep the SMU game because the Big 12 has a requirement that you have to play at least one Power 4 team in non-conference every season. Holmoe didn't want to play two non-conference road games back to back and did everything he could to find a replacement for coming to Laramie but was unsuccessful given the short notice.
BYU would not be in Laramie this Saturday if they could find anyway around it. Burman would be a fool to extend the series in any way.
I don't think it really matter what team we are playing this year - we are going to lose. Poor coaching + poor QB play = lots and lots of losses. It would be nice if we could somehow make this BYU game the one inexplicable win of the season.
On second thought, that may give Burman an excuse to keep Sawvel around for another year.

Not trolling at all. Our AD said it in a press conference a few months ago.
I really hope Burman declines any offer to extend the series. If he doesn't, it would be enough for me to believe it's time for Burman to go. I know Burman and Holmoe are friends, but Burman should be well aware that the majority of the Wyoming fan base wants nothing to do with BYU ever again.
Holmoe already tried to buy out the game coming up this weekend in Laramie. He just didn't have enough time to get it done. And that was even after he "promised" Burman that BYU would actually make the return trip to Laramie when they played in Provo in 2022.

You should be on here apologizing for what BYU has done to the MWC. BYU tried to ruin the MWC years ago and put everything in motion that it's finally happening.
Wyoming should come out planning to beat BYU by 100 points.

I’m fine to never see a UW team in Provo and BYU ever in Laramie again. And I hope BYU never wins a relevant game ever again. I will always root against BYU. There’s not a school I despise more than BYU and I strongly strongly dislike CSEwe.
