"Trap Game"

Is anyone else offended by the notion that we are a "trap game?" Last year, or one of the many previous years that we had underperformed, I can see this game being labled as such. But these BSU fans are starting to sound pretty pompous is they think the only way they would get beat by us is in a trap game scenario.

If they are using the term "trap game" then I don't think they know what that term means. Trap game means that there is a big opponent on the horizon and you're looking past the next opponent to that more formidable one. I'm not sure that there's a more formidable opponent left for Boise than us.

Not surprised they aren't taking us seriously, though. They are ranked #13 and we haven't ever put up much of a fight against them. Fine by me. I want them overlooking us.

That's my point. They know exactly what the term means and that's why they keep using it for this game. I think the fans think it's a trap game, the coaches and player probably know better. I would hope that they all over look us and that lends to some sort of advantage.

Until we prove to be a legitimate threat in the mwc we will have this reputation.

I don't mind being a trap game as it indicates we can't be overlooked or we could beat you.

Well for what it is worth per ESPN FPI we are the second hardest game left on their schedule with Air Force being the hardest. I think ESPN FPI is seriously overrating Air Force at this point, lucky for them they get Army, Fresno, and San Jose State to get them to 7-5 and be bowl eligible. But how can we be a trap game when Boise State's next game is San Jose State at Boise???

To be fair, if you go over to the BSU board, majority of their fans have been correcting the "trap game" crowd all week on what that actually means.

I listened to Harsin's interview yesterday. They aren't overlooking us. He knew the names of our players, their stats, tenancy's, etc. I was hoping they were looking beyond us.

FACT, this is not a trap game, it is the biggest game of the season for both teams until the MTN West Championship game, which should also be decided by the result of Saturday's game.

No way is this a TRAP game as their next opponent is SJSU, I highly doubt they are overlooking us to get on to their next opponents:
