We currently have 1 sigened and 3 verbal commits so hopefully only 3 more to fill.

In case people are wanting updates on where guys have transferred to.....

Anthony Mack: Miami
Buddha Jones: ????????????
Andrew Moemeka: Palm Beach Atlantic (D2)
Cody Kelley: South Dakota
Sam Averbuck: Dominican (D2)

Any word on potential grad transfer targets? AE mentioned they would go after some but I can't find any info on anybody we have targeted.

Momeka is a D-1 player. What disaster. How did AE and staff manage to screw that one up

You know as much as I love Laramie and spend my winter skiing...living in West Palm Beach Florida during the winter doesn't sound too bad.

Momeka is a D1 athlete not a D1 player. You can blame Edwards for not developing him but I disagree. You can't skate by on athletic ability at the D1 level. At the end of the day you have to put in the work. This includes understanding where you need to be on the floor.

It's funny, all year around here, it was Kelley who everyone thought would be playing D2.

I'm guessing part of it for Andrew was he wanted to be closer to home, but it's not like there's a lack of D1 schools in Florida either.

But of course, as with everything around here, looks like it's Edwards' fault.

Kelley is a grad transfer and has immediate eligibility, 2 seasons worth no less.

Moemeka would be a sit one, play one transfer for a D1 school.

If the eligibilities were reversed, Moemeka would be D1 and Kelley would be D2.

Per Edwards comments, the departure of Moemeka was "mutual". Read into that what you will.

heard from a tutor one game I sat by that she worked with him and that he didn't like any sort of discipline, but would be a good athlete here and a good kid with some growing up issues, I think AE tried to coach him and such and Andrew probably didn't like being told what to do??? NEXT......
