Tournament lineup?

With Naughton and Gorsky in reserve.

Losing James and Dalton we lose about 30 minutes per game, so it's Ironman time!

I think having a 7 or 8 man rotation is a good thing for the tourney. I would start:

Josh
Jason
Alan
Jordan
Jeremy

Gorski
Barnes


This will allow Naughton more minutes to help grab some boards and bring some nasty to the paint. Spell him with Barnes.

Kind of and not really. The walk-ons suit up & warm up for every game - so they can (and could) play. Unlike Conway and Moemeka...who have never warmed up with the team.
 
I guess shyatt said today that Sam Averback told him he would do anything to help the team and was willing to play in the tourney even if it burned his redshirt. So we will see.

Kind of and not really. The walk-ons suit up & warm up for every game - so they can (and could) play. Unlike Conway and Moemeka...who have never warmed up with the team.

Point was they are redshirting and doesn't make sense to burn a redshirt for what could be one game. Obviously they have been in uniform as opposed to Conway and Moemka.

We're talking about redshirts, here. I don't think they're ever going to be huge contributors. just saying. This is as good of a way to use them as any.

I totally agree. These are walk on players. Are they even gonna be with the program in a year or two?? Give em a shot and give this team a chance. If they can give the team even 2 to 3 minutes without completely going off the rails it will help us. I'd say fuck it! As a walk on I'd be stoked to get an audition man, they don't have any guarantees for anything good to happen anyway. No better time to go YOLO then a MWC tourney with Josh Adams as your leader.
 
I would imagine we will be playing a lot slower tempo overall now as well with less subs and you will see a lot of zone defense to keep the foul trouble to a minimum.

One game their freshman season compared to their 5th year senior season is just as good a reason as any?? This would be a terrible idea since they would contribute absolutely zero to the tournament and there's a slight possibility they could contribute at some point in the future. They will not help if they come in so why play them?
 
Shyatt needs to borrow a couple guys from Bohl. There is no reason to waste a red-shirt when this team has no chance of winning the tournament.

I think you hit it on the head. I think on offense we see a more Shyatt-like pace than we have seen most of the year. I hope we save our energy early in our offensive possessions, then let Josh go to work late in the shot clock.
