This team has guts and talent

What more can you ask for as a Cowboys fan. I love seeing squads like this. Nice gritty team play fellas keep it up! :thumb:

As much as I loved Shyatt, I never liked our deliberate pace of play. Edwards has these guys running the floor like it's a track meet. It's fun to watch these guys shooting in rhythm. Dalton and James have really stepped up this year. Hard to believe we were picked to finish last!

I loved Larry as well, but this team is a bit tougher and a well rounded team as a whole, that USC game was a true test of how our conference season is going to go and I'm not nearly as worried as I once was, that was a fun game to watch!!! Let's do damage in the conference season

If Lieberman hadn't regressed, we'd be a hell of a team.

Agreed, in the main. We are a heck of a team but maybe not a hell of a team. Lieb's 3-pt rate is .156 and overall .288. He is tied 1st for steals and 2nd for assists and 6th in TO's. But there is no metric for defense that I know of. You just have to form an opinion on defense by watching him.

I think the NBA has some different stats that would be nice to look at for this team. I don't think I have a problem with him on the D end. I'm not even mad he took the last shot. I'm tired of seeing him with unforced turnovers. I'd rather see a guy turn the ball over trying to make a great pass but he turns it over at half court bringing the ball up and at the top of the three point line.

I'm seeing some things I like, but I'd like to see us not settle for the quick three. I also love going for offensive rebounds -- that used to drive me crazy with Shyatt.

I think the game is too fast for Lieberman
On thinking about it, that seems to be the case. He is still in the Shyatt school of offense. This is where Cody may fit in better. It also brings up the question of how a deliberate player like Grabau would have done this year.
