This quote bothers me

"I'm proud of our guys," Schroyer said. "For about 30 minutes, we went toe-to-toe with one of the most talented teams in the country."

Anyone who watched that game should know that this Tennessee team is no where near a top 8 team in the nation. Schroyer did say " most talented" instead of one of the best teams in the country so I'm hoping he realizes this is not the same Tennnesse team that was real good a couple years ago. Atleast not yet. I think instead of being proud of losing by 19 after holding a 10 point lead, Wyoming should feel that they let a great opportunity slip away. The refs did the pokes no favors and probably wouldn't have let Wyoming win, but to lose by 19 should not be felt as a moral victory considering the way Tennessee is playing. I thought the careless turnovers and terrible 3 point shooting as well as the officiating was the difference. But Wyoming could have won this game or kept it a lot more interesting towards the end.

But as long as we are proud of these types of losses, we're never going to compete for anything meaningful. You can say but we played the #8 team in the country on the road.. I'm not buying it... Tennessee looked awful. Nowhere near a ranked team.

First off, you must have seen a lot of game and know a lot about basketball to assume Tennessee isn't as good as their ranking. Regardless, I thought we looked as good as we have all year at times. What does this mean? It means, being so young it appears we are playing better and maturing as a team. Tennessee is a team loaded with seniors and we are a team loaded with sophmores and freshman. Bumbs along the road are to be expected.

EPS? Didn't take long did it?

First off, you must not be the sharpest tool in the shed to assume Tennessee is as good as their ranking.
You obviously didn't read anything from a Tennessee board where 99% of Tennessee fans believe that their ranking is based purely on potential not on how they are playing this year. So if all the Tennnessee fans understand that they haven't gelled yet or played like a #8 team in the nation why do you??
