The QB mentality

A recent video on the UW site has Bohl saying he does not want a Gunslinger for QB. Bohl's NDSU game against K State, the QB was conservative and methodical and didn't get reckless.

A recent video also has Josh Allen saying he is a Gunslinger, when asked what kind of QB he is.

It will be interesting how those two traits co-exist on the field this year. He seems to be an intelligent kid.

Hey, he's doing a Trump - being sarcastic. At least that's what he says he's being after hearing Bohl's QB comment.

I would think we'll take some shots at homeruns to Gentry. It's hard to say what kind of QB Allen is, but I hope Bohl lets him throw down field a lot because he apparently has a huge arm. In other words I hope Bohl/Vigen don't hold him back.

I know there was argument last year whether or not to slide or take contact.

Allen better slide this year. Play smart.

Bohl and Vigen have not been opposed to the long ball at times, especially with play action on 2nd and short. Just won't see it as much on 1st down or 3rd and short with the ball control offense they want to run.

Division 2 mind sets and quarterbacks at the d1 level have a serious disagreement. Let's hope this guy is a lot smarter than joe Glenn. I believe he is
