It's the new one. I have pictures of the one in two of my media guides from the 1990s.

That one (the original) didn't have the cowboy going after cattle. This one just expanded the idea of the original.

The lariat looks pretty fragile. That would be the first thing broke off the trophy if we let the players grab it. I say let it be presented to the winning coach.

Maybe it is just me - but I could give a shit about a trophy for UW vs. Hawaii and UW vs. USU.

Probably because we suck ass, and it is "new" this season (for the most part).

I'm not sold on the Hawaii trophy. It's cool that we have a trophy game with them, but with the teams being in different divisions it won't have the same importance.

I'm all in with the Utah State rivalry trophy, though. I would have preferred to have one with Air Force, but a trophy with Utah State will mean something, especially with our fans in the southwest corner of the state.
