The Journey Begins: Practice Starts Monday

Has YouTube TV started? We recently moved pretty far out of town and this has been our plan due to the available channels and due to the cloud DVR option (which helps a lot when internet service is not all that fast).

I don't know all the markets it's available in. I just know it became available in Minnesota a week ago, and I just started my first month's trial. Quality of channels and quality of product is high.

I'm going to look at Youtube TV a bit closer now. Do you guys think it will have all the games this year?

From what I can tell, it only is available in about 10 large cities as of right now. Is this correct?

I tried again yesterday. It is not available in Wyoming. I'm guessing we will be the last state to get it even though it makes the most sense for Wyoming where we have many rural areas without decent TV reception and without extremely fast internet.

Root went away. Now it's AT&T Sportsnet something something something.

AT&T Sportsnet is the ROOT Sports name. Just like ROOT, they've got channels like Pittsburgh, Rocky Mountain, etc.

Looks like Youtube TV won't work yet in Wyoming (as someone pointed out earlier).

PS Vue looks enticing. I did use it last year during football.

- ESPN
- ESPN Deportes
- ESPN 2
- ESPN U
- ESPN News
- Fox College Sports Alantic
- Fox College Sports Central
- Fox College Sports Pacific
- Big Ten Network
- ESPN SEC Network

I guess thats about all I can ask for - $45 a month.

Yeah, I feel bad now for hyping it up, forgetting that it might not be available there. I don't think even Denver gets it yet (they basically need agreements with all of the local channels to add a market).

That Vue package is a good alternative if no Youtube TV in your area, but man I'm glad I also get CBS Sports Network and it's all for $10/mo less than Vue.
