the Colorado Christian game in December

) just noticed that when we play Colorado Christian in December, it's a regular season game for us but according to their schedule, it's an exhibition for them? Huh?

I guess it's more convenient to call it an exhibition when you know you're going to get your ass blown out.

I don't recall where I saw it but teams are only allowed so many game types per schedule and some teams use exhibition games since they are full on OOC games.

They were probably full on OOC games and had to use an exhibition game slot.

Exhibition games also don't count on the W/L record. A lower division or lower ranked team would rather use an exhibition slot if they didn't think the they would win we mainly use exhibition games for warm up games against an opponent we are likely to beat so if wet lose it doesn't completely destroy our rank.
