Hey guys,

I know some of you visited the site, but we decided to shut it down. Not an easy decision, we thought it filled a need, but never truly materialized to make it viable. I'm sad, I had some cool ideas for it, but not the time to make them happen. Sad.. I'll miss it.

Really good concept and good site. Internet sites are a funny thing. People pick a few out and stick with them. Sometimes it is tough to break into; especially with a limited fanbase like the MWC.

Good effort and sorry it didn't work better. Personally I like conference sites but will not participate in the other unless something crazy like Coastie's passing.

We tried like hell, but once the other board got its technical problems ironed out everyone we pulled over from there went back. Too bad, I thought we were gaining traction there for a while.

Thanks man. Honestly, I'm a diehard Poke fan, but the MWC has lost a lot of appeal for me. Outside of playing AF, CSU, and UNM, I couldn't care less about the rest of the teams.

You can rag on Lolspazz, Old Shep (a NDSU troll), Ian, and newcomer Cousin Maynard (a quasi-KKK SJSU fan).

Steve still pops up from time to time, and tools is still there but mostly sticks to the OT forum (the Cousin Maynard guy even gets on bluetool's nerves, which is saying something). Convert doesn't take much to get back into old form, and warblow still complains about everything.

LOL Warbow was a pain on Sports Hawaii. Just checked Sports Hawaii and saw that his last post on there was on June 25, 2005! He only had 95 posts before going off to the Warrior Sports Network....now that board (WSN) is a frinkin mess!!!!! :roll:

Sheep. Started a few threads that backfired on him, big time. You know Kapri Bibbs, the sheep's star RB this last year? Yeah, he started several threads with the title "(insert some team's name here) doesn't know who Kapri Bibbs is", and then nearly everyone else would chime in with "Who? Slappy Ribbs?" or some other similar sounding name.

Made it to the Troll Derby Final Round, but could not compete with #1 Stunner (a more subtle and non-attacking troll, the eventual winner) and of course Steve Aztec and all his "friends".

I remember being on the MWCBoard 8-9 years ago. It's the same crap over and over again. If you love getting into internet pissing matches, that is a golden haven for you. Disappointing that MWF didn't work out....oh well, this board turned out pretty good though.
