The Border War - Game Thread

Congrats Pokes. Great game today! Seniors can be proud of this one. Truly a spanking of our rival.
 
If our secondary could've had this kind of coverage all year - where we only needed to rush 2 to get a sack, we would've dominated.

At least this game could seriously sway a few of the recruits who have both Wyoming and CSU on their lists.


Five freaking TD's by Alexander, though... holy crap. That's despite having a few awful runs as well... as he gets smarter and learns to find the holes better - he'll be a freaking beast. Always good to see broken tackles like that, though. He WANTED to get into the endzone over and over.
 
Season was a major bummer but this has left me with a huge grin I cant get rid of. :mrgreen:
 
I was following from afar (holy shit I'm frozen)... GO POKES!!!! My god, where was this team all year?!?! Beating the shit out of the Sheep.... PRICELESS!!!
 
Well I'm ready to eat some crow as I posted a few week's back that the Poke's would lose their last three games and Thomas would have a field day throwing the bomb against our DB's. Way to sack it up Marty and crew! I gotta go to the store and get some A-1, you guy's ever tasted crow? Friggin nasty! :thumb:
 
Great win for the Pokes. The score came out of left field though....... Someone's gotta make a userbar out of this game. This is the kind of sh!t you rub in for the entire off-season.
 
This is the type of game that has been lurking in the background all season. I think playing those powerhouse teams early in the season got the players (some coaches too) confidence down. I predict we will be seeing this type of UW football more and more.
