Offensive Coordinator: Manny Mitsakis
Defensive Coordinator: Vic Koenning.
We haven't had that kind of quality in coaching since.... they left. I don't care what people think about Koenning as a head coach, the guy can coach defense. I also know what people think of Dimel, but the guy had confidence and his players fed off that. I've been a long time student of Mitsakis and have all of his playbooks. He is certainly "different" and has made some of the oddest coaching choices a guy can make but he is a flat out offensive genius.
Time to get the Trio back together and finish what could have been a sustained successful football team. We don't need a flashy hire for head coach, we need 3 guys who can flat out coach on their respective side of the ball and recognize the talent they need to fill those positions.
