I want to book my tickets now.Cowduck said:I sure as fuck hope SD doesn't coach young kids in any sport or have a kid who plays sports. "Did your jump shot look a little better today, son? Sure, but who cares, you LOST!" "Congratulations on that touchdown catch, but it was irrelevant. Your team will never be competitive."
When the team sets the bar as low as it did in the first two games, all we can hope for as fans is improvement. Especially when emotionally you know that two terrible losses will leave any team fragile and at risk of totally imploding. If you think the team is an embarrassment now, you haven't seen anything - just look at New Mexico in the Locksley era to see how badly it can really get. I'll take a team that is competing its ass off and trying to get better every week over a team that has quit on its coach any day of the week. So when we see improvement in this situation and you come running to shit on us, you don't come off as a soothsayer. You come off as an asshole.
The point. You missed it.
You don't get to the point where you qualify for bowl games without effort and hard work to improve. Go google "Nick Saban process" or something instead of wasting our time with obvious statements like "we didn't win the game." I can read a fucking box score.
Ok can you read a win-loss column? That's what I'm interested in.
Winning is the outcome of playing well. Playing well is the result of improving your deficiencies over time. This thread was a discussion of that process. If you want to talk about the team's record, start your own thread but don't expect much action. I echo the sentiment that if all you care about is the W/L record then I don't know what the fuck you're doing on this board. There are many, many places where you can see scores and standings. Whatever you do, stop jacking threads with your douchebaggery.
