So because I have morals against betting and because I may have a budget that won't allow it, I spewing "schtick" I don't even believe?

Thanks for letting me know my own thought process...

If you are right, then you don't need to worry about budget. Also, if you recall, the bet was for a donation to Cowboy Joe Club which should help with the morality.

To me, it was a bigger concern that usu's 3rd string could run the score up on us.

We are a low level FCS team right now.

Teams do get beat on the road and by large margins at times. Or in the case of CSU, UNLV, and Hawaii...get beat at home by large margins. If we are a low level FCS team, so if half our conference because they also got blow out. That is your logic.

I'll hand it to Utah State for making up for their piss poor performance at SDSU. Our young team, that is struggling with depth, got worn out. Because of this, they got blown out. Hopefully this will continue to light the fire for these young players to work hard and get better.

This is a rebuilding year and most fans know there would be struggles. This is the first game in the past 5 where the Pokes took a step back and didn't beat the spread. Doesn't change one thing about this season.

Well this is great news!! The Pokes are 5-4 versus the spread this year. That means only one more game of covering and we are bowl eligible..

er..

wait, you mean we actually have to win 6 games to be eligible for a bowl. :tickedoff:

Glad to see we improved our blocking scheme on punts....

Doesn't appear we learned anything from last week... CSU was close to blocking several (at least from what I saw, when I could stand watching the game)
