Texas -33.5 point favorites over the Cowboys

Like the guys on Brown and Gold All Access said, just beat the spread!

WTF, that better not be our attitude!! Just lose by less than 33 that is some pussy shit. At least I am pretty sure the team will be playing to win and not to lose by less than 33.

Honest opinion...the 'Horns won't cover the spread, but we won't give them a game either. Prediction: 42-24 Texas. I'm dreading watching the Pokes secondary get raped. It will be close at the end of the 1st quarter and then things will open up. Our best player in the secondary is Shamiel Gary and I'm not afraid to say it. Gipson's and Prosinksi got smoked on several occasions. Prosinski is an all or nothing safety. He either makes a spectacular play or gives up a huge play. Look for Muhammad to move into the starting line-up soon. Yes, I know Chris Pro was picked to be all-conference in a few publications. Three games later and he is riding the bench. I've been wrong before though.

Muhammad is listed as outside LB and backs up Weston Johnson. Keith Lewis backs up Prosinski. But I agree about Prosinski and think he is a repeat of Quincy Rogers (remember this guy, I still have nightmares). We didn't blitz a lot against WSU, so maybe Marty English didn't want to give away our blitz scheme yet. Shipley plays a lot in the slot so look for Shamiel Gary to cover him. I think Gary will win that battle. I also noticed we didn't utilize the tight ends against WSU, and in the spread offense, if the defense blitzes the outside LB, then the tight ends will be open all day. I truly believe we smack Texas in the mouth and the goal posts will go down. Welcome to 7220 Texas!

I like your confidence in the team, but you are out of your friggin' mind with this statement. Shipley is possibly the top WR in the country. Gary proved himself in the Weber game, but there is no way in hell a true freshman shuts down this receiver.

Don't get me wrong, I'm pulling hard for the Pokes in this one, but chances of a win are slim and none, and slim is packing to leave town.

Shipley is one of the best rout runners I've ever seen, and has tremendous hands. What makes this so difficult is if you double him with a saftey, there are so many other weapons on the field it's almost impossible to stop.
