Team has packed it in

No emotion today. Defense looks extremely slow. I would venture to say that our d-backs are the slowest in the nation, why else would they play 10+ yards off the receivers every play. SDSU moves the ball at will, and has recievers wide open with a 5 yard cushion every play. If I was a coach of an opposing team I would throw the ball every down and never run it, because we never get any pressure or come close to knocking down a pass.

ACS has happy feet. He rarely throws a pass from the pocket, and if he even feels a little pressure seems to take off running. He needs to find some trust in the recievers and at least give them a chance to make a play. What happen to the offense that actually had a little creativity against UNM and UNLV. I am glad that we played both of them at the beginning of the season when the team had some emotion, if we played them now I wouldn't count on a win.

Clearly I just needed to complain. Now all the sudden the team is looking better, ACS is making some throws to recievers, the line is opening up holes, and defense is making stops. Maybe the team will prove me wrong and pull this out. I'm suddently getting cautiously optimistic again with 2 back to back touchdowns.

A truly AWESOME performance in the 4th. quarter! That was a GREAT comeback for the Pokes and a CRUSHING loss for the Aztecs. The Cowboys have to be elated and proud of themselves. This is a great boost!

It's a good feeling to eat crow when your team proves you wrong when you were negative rather than positive. At least when you expect the worst, you can only receive happy surprises.

Now let's not have a hangover for next week. I don't care about TCU's BCS game possibilities. Some will say it's better for the conference if TCU goes BCS bowling. Well, I say it's better for the Pokes if we win. I want to see the Pokes get bowl eligible at home!!!!
