Why aren't you there, hmm? A short plane trip from Cali for a Tues night game in a snowstorm isn't too much to ask from any true fan.

It's pathetic. Growing up in Laramie I remember plenty of games where when the roads were closed meant we only got 7K in the stands.

Coming through the canyon the roads were fine but when we got past morton it was hell. But we still did it without worry. And then we took I80 home and it was fine. All in all shitty conditions be damned. Watching that game in person was amazing

Did you have to walk uphill both ways without any shoes, too?

Another embarrassing turnout by Wyoming fans.

Yeah I don't understand why Laramie fans don't come out more, the road from Cheyenne was closed, I had to reroute on dirt roads and 287 to get there, the students were there in force, coulda be just a bit better!!
Hopefully next year we get 10,000 plus, we'll see

I don't know what you're trying to say, but if you're satisfied with last nights turnout then OK.

Most of those that did come, didn't get there until the last minute. I was able to get there early, but a lot of the roads were pretty icey. Even a lot of the parking was as well. You could go ice-skating in most of the parking areas last night.

I'd love to see a packed house every game if it were possible, but the constant, non-stop bitching about low attendance isn't going to solve the problem and is growing tiresome. The students showed, we got the W and sent our seniors out right. We can't control how others choose to spend their Tuesday nights.

Sorry my bitching is getting old, but it isn't going to stop anytime soon. If Wyoming, and its fans, ever want to take the next step the fans also have a responsibility to come out and support the team. Wyoming is already behind the 8 ball compared to most everyone else financially, lackluster fan support only makes it tougher.

You know something, you're right. It would help if our fans would show up. Financially it would put us where we need to be.
How many games do you go to a year CalPoke? And don't tell me distance is a disadvantage for you. I'm sure your mo further away than I am. Probably 800 to 1,100 (If you're in SD) miles? Not to bad. I'm about 850 miles and try for two football games, 3 (if they are playing anywhere near my home) and two basketball games a year. And that's driving through the night, not flying.
Sadly i was unable to go to a basketball game this year. Every opportunity I had was declined by weather. Roads closed on a 850 mile trip, It's hard to make it to a game. Roads closed on the Pass between Cheye and laramie, it's hard to make it. Road closed between Rock Springs and Laramie (where i used to live) it's impossible to make it.
Point is, no room to complain if you're not doing your part.
