Tanner Gentry has been named to the award watch list today. His season so far has been pretty good so far. 12th in the country in receiving yards.

I like the way he's able to get open and then hold on to the ball even when everybody knows he's the primary target. I really hope he can stay healthy and have a huge season so at least we have something to be happy about. Really glad he'll be around another season too - unless somebody convinces him to head to the draft, at least. He's definitely challenging for a 1,000 yards + 10 TD season at this point, even though our schedule gets a bit tougher now.

being a Junior and such an impact player, doesn't he seem like he's been here forever, keep up the awesome work!!!

Sweet! Kid is having a great season! Isn't he averaging more than 100 yards a game?
1 catch for 6 yards against EMU, 433 yards over 25 catches in the other games... so yeah. If it wasn't for that one weird outlier, he'd be over 130 yards per game.

I think that had more to do with the 3rd string QB throwing the ball over everyone's heads than the receiver.

Yeah, which is why I pointed out it was an outlier. :)

I hope he has a great season and decides to stay his senior year as well.
