Let's be honest people and stop kidding ourselves.

These camo uniforms are a fucking war crime. Burn them in the physical plant, along with all photographic evidence that they ever existed. I appreciate the sentiment but god almighty they are hideous.

Frankly, I think every program - perhaps with the exception of the academies - need to stop with the camo/military unis. We get it...now stop it. Put a tasteful flag patch on the uni if you would like.

As a longtime fan of the aesthetics of athletics...I will add that the Wyoming military look is a hideous representation to our otherwise splendid uniform design and colors.

They are an eyesore of magnificent proportions.

No argument here. I especially agree re" the flag patch. Sadly, I suspect that is much to passé for 2013.

Frankly, my preference is to use the home uniforms that we used against Idaho http://collegefootball.ap.org/article/wyoming-defense-shows-improvement-season or SDSU last year http://dailyranger.com/home_page_images/HerronRobert81513web.jpg and to use the road uniforms we used against Nebraska http://www.huskermax.com/games/2013/photos/01/hubbard/cowboysvshuskers083113_3591.JPG and to leave it at that. I think one of the things that came out of the consultant’s report earlier this year was to work on brand identity and I think that being more consistent with our uniform choices and placing more emphasis on both brown and yellow across all teams whenever possible (i.e. bring back the brown to men’s basketball and replace white helmets with brown) will go a long way toward that end.

Are those the unis than don't have the player's name on the back, instead words like "courage", "honor", etc. ? Those are awful, awful, awful. First I don't want to memorize all the player's numbers. Second, what the hell does it have to do with football. If you MUST have slogans instead of names on the back, use "tackle", "sack", "intercept", "block", etc.-- something to remind the players what to do.

The players/recruits like them. I know we are old crotchety fans and we feel a certain way...but if potential recruits like them and it helps get them, why not.

Cue the whole "it shouldn't matter to recruits, and if it does, we don't need them" argument.

Have you talked to some of the players & UW recruits about this - just wondering how you know they like them?
