Still about 2,800 tickets left

Unless there is a big walk-up crowd, we'll be lucky to break 10,000.

Good weather, great record, good opponent with a lot on the line. Wyoming fans have changed.

I just walked up and bought 6 tickets. My sister called and said she just left Denver with the family and hadn't bought tickets yet. There were maybe 5 others there buying tickets. I'm excited for a big crowd.

Let's look on the bright side. That's still a pretty solid crowd there and it should be rocking!!! This is how you build momentum. Gotta start somewhere, WIN in front of that crowd, get them excited, rinse and repeat.

There is over 10k. Largest crowd since 2001, they just said.

I'm not sure where they are getting their stats from...the 16,000+ sellout against Utah was March of 2002. We had several 10,000+ games in the 2002-2003 and 2003-2004 seasons.

Yah I was thinking that Utah game was in 2002.

McKinney got it wrong, 05 , SDSU I think we had 10k.

Doesn't matter. We had 9k for Colorado, 7k for UNLV, 6.8k for SDSU, 10k for UNM, If we beat USU in Logan then Nev will probably pull 7/8k, CSU will probably sellout! SJSU prob 7/8k, Fresno 7/8k and USU 8/9k.
Numbers like that will boost this years avg significantly. And like I've said, if we don't have a massive drop off next year attendance should not drop too bad either.
GO POKES!!!

There were a lot of empty seats in the lower bowl.
Not as many as there had been though.

I made it through the 1st half before the pain in my ankle was too much that I had to leave. Still a damn big crowd who made noise that puts a lot of arenas to shame.

You could see them on TV. Somebody needs to find out who owns those seats and shame them on social media. There's a rowof seats a few rows back from behind the cowboy bench that stayed empty. If you aren't going to use them, sell them, donate them, just put somebody in them!

I feel like the people who have money for them, that don't show up are also the types of people that don't use social media.

What's a facebook? Back in my day twitter was a swear word.

Yeah, I definitely don't get why they think this was the largest since 2001.

Went over 10k twice in 04/05 season, twice in 03/04, six times in 02/03, five times in 01-02.

McKinney was misleading all game long. From mixing up fg and ft, to rebounds and blocks to time on the clock. Then he busted out 01 instead of 05.

That's all it was. That's why Dave quickly said it had only been ten years since the last game over 10k.

This wasn't directly from McKinney, this was from the ESPN guys. Now maybe they got it from McKinney, but I don't know if it was him or someone else supplying the stats.

It cracks me up how we had our biggest crowd in 10 years and those bragging about this are the same ones complaining about seats being taken out. Guess what? Over 10 years, the best we can do is fill an arena 2/3 it's original capacity? With an amazing team and top notch renovations, we downsize and still can't sell out.

Without our renovations (if these teams met in the old AA) we wouldn't be close to breaking 10k.
