It’s Time to Open at Home. . .
There is a lot of excitement around the UW campus for the home opening football game Saturday with the Toledo Rockets presented by Rocky Mountain Oncology and Mountain View Medical Center. A good crowd is expected for what should be an excellent game. Because of the crowd, we ask that Cowboy fans enjoy all of the pre-game activities, but don’t wait too long to enter the stadium. Remember it’s a 2 p.m. kickoff. For your information, the main ticket office (north side of the Arena-Auditorium) will open at 8 a.m. That is where the main will call also is located. The War Memorial Fieldhouse Will Call opens at 10 a.m. The East Stadium Will Call (for Wildcatter only) also opens at 8 a.m. Tailgate Park opens at 11:30 a.m. Also, because this game begins at 2 p.m. open container tailgating begins at 8 a.m. Don’t forget the Cowboy Walk. Fans should gather along the route at approximately 11:20. Single game tickets for the Toledo game are priced at $35 for adults and $17 for youth. Season and three-pack tickets are available. UW students may purchase two student-guest tickets at $17 each for this game. Those tickets are available at either the Union Ticket Office, or the UW Athletic Ticket Office. It’s time, here we go W-Y-O! Please visit here to double check the parking lots around War Memorial Stadium.

Downtown Kickoff. . .
Right after Saturday’s game, head to downtown Laramie for the second annual Downtown Kickoff. The event will begin right after the game or around 5 p.m. The Laramie Main Street Alliance is hosting the Kickoff in Historic Downtown Laramie on Grand Avenue between 1st and 2nd Streets. There will be a youth carnival, music, local brews, barbeque, merchandise raffles and appearances by UW student-athletes. Many downtown merchants will be open late Saturday as well.

From the Cowboy Joe Club. . .
The Texas Tailgate event prior to the Cowboy-Longhorn game last week was a huge success. Over 900 fans were served. The Club thanks Infinity Power and Controls, ISC, Inc., Cheyenne Beverage, Orrison Distributing and the Brown 'N Gold Outlet for all of their support and help.

It’s finally here. The Cowboy Joe Club Auction happens Friday night at the Little America Convention Center at Cheyenne. Visit here to take a look at the “live” auction items.

As of Tuesday morning, the Club had 4,400 members. The Drive for Five is alive and well!

Hall of Fame Set for September 14. . .
