The Uni-Wyo Sports Complex received new graphics which can be seen Sunday during the volleyball scrimmage. Both floors in the Uni-Wyo Sports Complex and the Arena-Auditorium have been re-finished, and they are beautiful.

Installation of the new track in War Memorial Fieldhouse should be completed by September 1.

Two Fun Events on the Horizon. . .
With football just around the corner, there are two events scheduled within the next two weeks that should keep you in the know. On August 27, the second annual Women's Football Clinic is scheduled for the Wildcatter beginning at 10 a.m. Coaches will speak and lunch will be served. Cost is $50 per person, and ladies may register by calling the football office (766-3155) or register online through the Cowboy Joe Club.

The second event is the Wyoming Football Kickoff Luncheon presented by Wyoming State Bank. Emceed by the Voice of the Cowboys Dave Walsh, and featuring Wyoming Head Coach Dave Christensen, his staff and student-athletes, the luncheon is scheduled for August 29 at 11:45 a.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn. The luncheon includes a buffet-style meal and is $15 per person. Tickets are available at the door. To reserve a 10-person table ($150), or for more information on the event, contact Ron Adelson at (307) 766-5018 or [email protected] by August 24.

From the Ticket Office. . .
For the Nebraska game (September 24), the process for UW students to attend the game will be different than the regular game-day procedure. Students will be required to pick up their FREE ticket prior to the game. The pick-up dates are: Stampede members only: August 29 through August 30, 9 a.m. through 4 p.m. All students: August 31 through September 2, 9 a.m. through 4 p.m., and September 5 through September 9, 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Students must pick up their tickets in the Union Buy-Back Windows. The limit is one ticket per student ID. Students must swipe their ID card to validate at time of pick-up. Spouse/dependent cards also can be swiped for one ticket.

Groups interested in attending a Wyoming home event may contact the ticket office. Discounted ticket packages are available for outings such as birthdays, company parties, and family reunions. Check with the UW Athletics Ticket Office for more information.

If you have ordered Nebraska tickets, they are in the mail this week.

The deadline for basketball season-ticket renewals was Monday. If you haven't renewed your season tickets please contact the ticket office.
