Fall Sports Getting Close. . .
As the summer flies by and we get deeper into July, everyone begins to think about the fall sports offerings. Reporting dates for the fall sports are just around the corner.

The Cowboy football team reports Wednesday, August 3, and the first practice begins on Thursday afternoon, August 4.

Wyoming's soccer team reports on Tuesday, August 2, and begins its first practice on Wednesday, August 3.

The Cowgirl volleyball team reports on Monday, August 8, and begins practice on Tuesday, August 9, with two sessions.

The cross country teams report on Sunday, August 14, and members of those squads begin practice on Monday, August 15.

Media Day for the fall sports is scheduled for Saturday, August 6.

Ticket Updates. . .
As of this morning, a total of 10,150 season tickets had been sold for the 2011 Cowboy football season!

Don't forget that single game football tickets--excluding the Nebraska game--will go on sale both online and through the UW Athletic Ticket Office at 7:30 a.m. on July 25.

Renewals for basketball season tickets have been mailed. Deadline for those renewals is August 15. To renew your tickets, please visit wyomingathletics.com.

Something new has been added to the department's ticket menu. A season ticket that is good for any soccer, volleyball or wrestling event is now being offered. For $99 a fan can purchase a "Pokes Pass" which is a season ticket for those three programs. One ticket, one price for all of those home events.

UW Kids Club
Parents may sign up their little Cowboys and Cowgirls for membership in the Wyoming Kids Club for only $20. The Club is for children in sixth grade and under. By joining the Club, children will receive a t-shirt, lanyard, membership credential, birthday card, invitations to special events and free admission to home volleyball, soccer and wrestling events. In addition, all members receive a FREE ticket to the UNLV football game (October 15), a home Cowboy basketball game (TBA) and a Cowgirl home basketball game (TBA). X's and O's Reminder. . .
Don't forget the second annual X's and O's Women's Football Clinic, hosted by the Wyoming football staff. The event is scheduled for August 27, at 10 a.m. at the Wildcatter Stadium Club. The event begins at 10 a.m., and will include plenty of football talk and lunch. Cost is $50 per person and ladies may register by calling the football office (766-3155) or online through the Cowboy Joe Club.
