From the Athletics Director Tom Burman. . .
"We have an extremely important football game coming up on Saturday. The Cowboys have an opportunity to become bowl eligible which is always a goal at the beginning of each season. It's a big deal for our program and we need all of our Cowboy fans in War Memorial Stadium. If our goal is to become a football program that goes to bowl games on a consistent basis, then it must start with our fans being in the stands for these kids, especially in November. The weather is going to be fine; it's for bowl eligibility and the last home game for an outstanding senior class. There shouldn't be any excuses, we need you."
