Pretty sure they've also sucked the entire HCDC tenure. Kick off coverage is maybe the scariest 4-5 plays of any game. Kick off returns always look like abortions - returners run scared. We know how to out kick punt coverage and muff punts and/or call for fair catches at the wrong time or place on the field.

Robin Ross should be fired along w/tormey by Monday too!

I'm in agreement with you. I can understand not having good special teams one year or maybe even two, but this has gone on year after year after year.

And the one real bright spot (Wood) was in no way recruited, I am fairly goo friends with the kid, he just went and practiced kicking on his own then basicallg asked if he could go to spring ball and have a shot, DC said yeah and we know the rest

Considering our kickoff coverage, I don't know why we bother gambling with it. Our kicker can put it out of the back of the endzone. We should do that on every kickoff.

Punting - we seem to have less choice in the matter, and we should probably aim for out of bounds or the back of the endzone. I know its 25 free yards - but we have proven we don't like to take risks at the end of the second half, I don't know why we aren't more conservative on special teams.
