So, unless u have been living in a cave... we all know the spurs have been taking a real long look at nance. And it makes complete sense. He is a mini tim d. Character wise, mr everything, productive and plays d. The spurs were wanting him last year. What a great honor!

But here is the scary and great part. I think there is another individual the spurs want. And i believe his first name is larry.
If u look at what both coaches represent, their coaching approach, and the time frame for popovich's retirement; it paints a pretty logical picture.

Wyoming my not be larry shyatt's last gig. The spurs probably have an extremely small list of names.

Im just saying that in 2-3 years, we may all become spurs fans.

Thoughts?

Unless Larry isn't being up front, I believe Wyoming is his last job. He doesn't like what is involved with the bigger programs and don't think he'd be a fan of dealing with NBA players. I could be wrong, but that is my :twocents:

Go Pokes!!

Probably not, is my thought.

My thoughts are:

1. That Larry is two years younger than Pop
2. That Larry has no NBA experience
3. That Larry has repeatedly said he wants Wyoming to be his last job and that he won't leave until he gets Wyoming right
4. That Pop has a ready made successor on staff in Boylen, who has extensive NBA experience,
5. That you are on glue.

I would love to see LN jr go to the Spurs heck of a fit for him, but there's not really anyway I could see Shyatt leaving us for the NBA except one way and that's $$$ but he did that once b4, so I guess it's not outta the question, but...NO NBA experience, he's more of a program resurrector, and he just build a fine nice new home in Laramie, and from what I've heard his wife likes it in Laramie and that's half the battle. I feel this is his last job and he wants to see it to the end, let's just hope if we win the MWC this year and go to the NCAA's this isn't it. IF so thanks for what you have done, but we wanna win the MWC this year!!!!
