In the blog:

"Christensen will be on the road recruiting early next week. The team won’t practice again until Thursday, but must be back for meetings and conditioning by Tuesday."

Is this what they did before the Utah State game? How many practices did they actually use to prepare for Utah State? But my take is this: Let SDSU and Boise State have the games. Play the bench most of the time in those. Prep the starters for three out of four wins against NM, TCU, AFA, and CSU.

They used their bye week before on a typical schedule, but practices were more about fundamentals/training camp type stuff than preparing for actual game play. That's what I understood anyway.

I really hope you're just joking about just letting SDSU & BSU win. That's terrible.
