This tournament Championship today is the first since 1988.

That year Wyoming beat San Diego State, Fort Fart, and UTEP all in Provo, Utah to get the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

It was UW's second straight WAC Tournament Championship.

I was at that MWC tournament. Always will remember Leckner hitting that turn around jumper at the buzzer against CSU.

Been a long time coming but it feels great today to win it again.

Best part is we can relax while Boise St. and CSU have to sweat overnight hoping they are in.

If UConn wins tomorrow, I think one of those two gets shafted, which would be unfortunate. I'm hoping 4 MW teams get in. The MW needs to make an impact this tournament. Someone needs to make a Sweet Sixteen run.

Would love for a few Sweet 16 runs from the MWC.

CSU can win 1 then lose (win 2 if they go to Dayton). Just do not want them going to the Sweet 16.
Boise can make the Sweet 16.
Wyo and SDSU can make the Elite 8 and we beat SDSU in our 4th matchup of the season to go the the Final 4.

How does that sound for MWC respect?
