No matter what the game is I'm worried about our scoring ability. w/o Nance we have Adams who can score at will but when Nance is there we become so dependent on him that Adams doesn't get the touches he needs or he tries to force passes.

IMO what we need is Adams to play the same way he did against SJSJ/NEV when Nance was gone and continue driving the ball while also using Nance. We can't just go 100% Nance it doesn't work and our scoring output when we do is pure trash.

Wyo2dal is EXACTLY right. When Nance is in the perception is that he has to be the offensive focus. The players (at Shyatt's bidding or not) defer to Nance. As a result the opposing defense knows to collapse on Larry and knows they are going to get a lot of steals of incoming passes. But as at Nevada, the defense wasn't sure who in the hell was designated to put in in the hoop. Nevada got confused. The Pokes have to use Nance as 1/5 of the team on the floor. His talents alone will get him top billing. The other 4/5 don't have to try to force it on him.

Are you sure? Adams had 22 points against Fresno, also had 14 attempts and was 4-7 from 3pt. I don't think he slowed at all.
Nance needed a game to get re acclimated and he still gave us 9 pts and8 reb and a blk or two.
If Adams maintains at 14-15 attempts and Nance bounces back up from his 10 against FSU to his typical 14-15, those two will be fine. Adams can't go back to his 2-8 ppg again. And with a little faster pace, I don't think we see him do that again.
Grabau gets his 5-8+ ppg, we should be fine. I'd just like to see our best free throw shooter getting to the line at least two to three times a game.

In saying that, we need consistent production from Cooke, Hank and McM. We need 8-10 from Cooke, 5-8 from Hank and 5-7 from McM. Herndon is also about 4-7. Anything from the other players is extra, but when these three struggle, we struggle.

With reference to the post season question, it's hard telling how we do in a tourney when we don't know the comp. but this team has potential to make a run in ANY tourney.

I think CBI. Unless I see some discipline taking care of the ball, free throw shooting, etc. I can see this going south rapido.

IMO, we will win mwc opener. We could easily slide before mwc tourney starts even.

Do I think we CAN make a run? Absolutely. Do I think we will? As of right now, 11:55 pm MST, I am selling.
