This kid is going to be a monster with Shyatt coaching him for 4 years. In two years it will be Nance, Grabau, Hankerson as seniors with Adams,Halderson, Mcmaneman (spelling) Juniors and Vernon will be a sophomore along with whoever else they are bringing in. That team should be deadly. Gets me excited thinking about it.

If Leonard was here a full 4 years under Shyatt he would probably go down as 1 of the greatest 10 Cowboys ever. This kid reminds me of Leonard. I highly doubt he will be able to replicate Leonards success until his Jr. or Sr. season, but if he can come close by his sophomore season, he might be one of the best 10.
Of course, with Adams racking up the starts, dunks, he might be one too. Oh and that tall giraffe like fellow named Larry Nance Jr.
Is it just me or do we have a lot of REALLY good players either on the team or coming in that could be GREAT when it is all said and done?
Any future Dembos or Baileys? Or am I just rollin on some brown and gold basketball ecstasy? lol.

Let's say this years team has a very long winning streak, ends up being ranked, does well in conference, makes it to the Big Dance, and spends a lot of time on national TV (lotsa good exposure) this could have a crazy effect on UW recruiting to go with the solid job Shy and the coaches are currently doing.

It's fun now but the future teams could really be the ones benefiting.

we still have one schollie to fill with skakir leaving. ive been watching the recruiting channels to see if any new offers go out. At one point we had a schollie offer to jordan scott... but either that was bad info or we pulled the offer.

spring signing is probably something coach shyatt wants to keep an offer open for.

and yes, a strong showing in the best basketball conference in the west will help our recruiting leaps and bounds.

drew gordans little brother... aaron gordan is a top ten national recruit, cali kid. they say he's better than his brother.

I think we need a legitiment big so we can rotate larry to the four spot permanetly.

alan herndon is still growing, not sure how he's going to fill out, hopefully no injuries with him.

coach shyatt still has many ties to florida, probably the best basketball state right now. Scott duncan was "the" recruiter at ucla... isn't that where drew gordan originally signed... then went to new mexico. Maybe he has some family ties built with the gordan's.

just food for thought.
