Could be nothing at all.....but winter break has claimed many Pokes in the past.

With the way the season went, losing your HC, cold as shit weather, finals. What player wouldn't want to go home to recuperate?

Also a tweet from Kevin Smith saying fan base is being too negative and that he had full confidence in Burman to make a decision.

I had no idea Silent Bob liked the 'Pokes.

Amen to that...the negativity does get a little wearing.

I would really like to know what he thinks we should be positive about...

Haha, that's cause he's "silent bob". Jay is a vocal pokes supporter.

Mr. Smith almost has to say good things about Burman, because his kid is still at UW. No surprise there.

For those of us who have suffered through the past 20 to 25 years of abysmal performance in football and basketball, and specifically suffered through the horrendous hires and bad decisions of Tom Burman, we have a right to be a bit negative.

In the real world, Burman would have been launched like a cannon ball for his piss poor leadership, poor executive decisions, and complete lack of a vision. His idea of a long term goal is planning his Cristmas dinner. All I can say is he is really lucky to have a government job......where the standards are not quite as high as the private sector.

So does twenty years of losing

Just like the HS and DC hires.

You can say what you want about Burman and UW fat cats but here in the public sector some of us work our balls off, specifically public safety, and put our lives in danger and never see our families for a barely livable wage while also enduring furloughs. Not to mention hear ignorant comments like this all the time especially on Wyoming boards when you're the least taxed state in America.

Don't mind them, it's a religious tenant, Reagan-esque anti-government thing. Thanks for making your community stronger!

What, And some of us on the other side of the spectrum don't have the same issues? Spoken like a martyr.

Apples to oranges; private sector workers don't get undeserved constant denigration and berating from half of the political spectrum.
