Wyoming: Shyatt in final talks with Buchanan and Burman. Shyatt's salary not an issue. Sticking point right now is assistant salaries and recruiting budget. Shyatt will not come if he doesn't have both at-or-near the top of MWC. If he doesn't come, that'll be why. If Shyatt takes job, strong possibility Scott Duncan (UCLA) will be top assistant. Even tho Duncan & Shyatt are close and worked together for many years at Wyoming and Clemson, Duncan willingness to leave UCLA for Wyoming does speak to the state of Howland's program. Shaky. Not sure it'll get better b/c of burned bridges.
