So what's everyone's take, is anyone gonna partake in the festivities, remember it's the end of the AA era b4 it's facelift(much needed), what's everyone's favorite memory of UW-CSU either in Ft. C or in Laramie, basketball related.
Last year those dufus CSU students sitting next to me/us in the student section, man was that trying day not knocking their blocks off. Which players from CSU did you like most/least?
Im glad Iverson isn't there anymore.
Just trying to get one more interactive chat b4 season's over.
GO POKES, hope to see the AA fill up a bit more than normal...BEEEET the SHEEEEEEP

Ill be there. Might have a cry after the loss and thinking how it will be the last time I will ever get to sit in my seat I have been in my entire life as a Cowboy fan. So many good memories there and that part of the Double A will just be gone. It honestly hurts lol

If LoClass is at the game I really hope someone mans up and busts his jaw

I have been planning to attend and I want to be sure my children see how impressively capacious the A-A is before it is gutted and downsized to a mid-major venue.

I suppose the new facility will have a capacity that is more in line with the new, lower aspirations that our fans have for the program.

I remember when a crowd of 10-12K was an indication that momentum was building in support of our Pokes and that bigger and better things were yet to come. Now we will never even see 12K again and 11,600 will be the best we can ever hope for.

Part my bitterness is because I have scoffed at the SDSUs and the Utah States of the world because they aimed so low when they installed seats in their respective arenas. I always liked the idea that we were aiming, and occasionally reached higher attendance than they could ever dream of.

We talk about low attendance now, but 15K was the capacity that we need in Wyoming when our teams are playing for championships.

Yes, I will be there. With the new pricing that will come with the new, lower seat supply, I expect that this will be the last game I can afford to take my children to for a long, long time.

I love all the history and tradition of the AA....

That said, I'm glad we are reducing the seats and giving the venue a facelift. The venue looks horrible on these weeknight TV games. It will improve the atmosphere having the fans condensed and the students relocated.

I'm also very excited to see the venue when the project is completed in its entirety. This will make for a much more attractive fan experience. It's time to keep up with the the rest of the MWC.

yeah I have mixed feelings about the renovation, but 32 years in a building's terms is in it's senior years and time for a facelift....I hope they really think about the fans during all this and we keep that intimate atmosphere that gives us our advantages over the years, let's just say we make the CBI, CIT are they really starting all this on Monday or is it in stages???
Thanks for all the memories AA and time to make new ones

The chances of making the CBI or CIT are so close to zero that they are zero. But if they do make it, at least I will be saving a little bit on laxatives for a moment.
