I would disagree. LBSU is only 4-4. They lost at home while shooting 39 free throws. That was 23 more than LBSU shot. So yeah. I'd say it's a bad loss.
 
Indiana State is rated higher in KenPom than Long Beach State, even after Long Beach State won at Moby. DU is slightly behind Long Beach State in KenPom. MSU is #299, so I don't have anything to say about that one.

All ratings systems this early have big swings both ways for wins and loses. I've been talking about Sagarin a lot on here. As of now in Sagarin Wyo has climbed up to 158 which is awesome! That loss dropped CSU to 126. As far as the competition well we can't say LBSU is worse then the teams we lost to. Sagarin has them rated 140 now. INSU is rated 166 so that's not too bad but we did get WORKED that game, MTST however is gonna need to do work not to haunt us rated at 279 :-? I think that's why we had some strong reactions to that loss on the board. I forgot about KenPom he's got a good rating system too so thanks for the reminder about that.

Ratings systems really don't mean too much but its fun to kinda gauge things. You gotta keep getting those W's to get your name into the conversation. If we beat Cal then all of sudden this season might turn into a very different thing. If our defense keeps improving we might be able to hang with just about every team in the MWC especially at home. Hope the other MWC teams play well out of conference so we can be a 3 bid league this year....well except AF and CSU I just hope they struggle :lol:
 
If we beat Cal then the season will indeed turn into a very different thing. And in that case unfortunately the Mt. State loss would haunt the heck out of us.

The big thing about this Cal game to me is it's going to go a long way in showing us how we might stack up against UNLV this year. If we can disrupt some teams that are athletically stronger then us we are going to find some success this season. The thing is I actually think we're more all around athletic then we've been in awhile depth wise....we're just not strong..where is the :beef: Our guards are actually kind of built though....
 
I saw the Carlton Hurst transferred to South Dakota. I know Wyoming recruited him hard, like the Wyoming has kept the Co pipeline and kids stay. Minus Halderson, but he was never ready for D1

UNLV has so much talent, I don't think even Dave Rice could fuck them up this year. But it's early and we all know how Davey boy has a way of taking a winning team and turning them into a giant steaming pile of talented shit. It will be fun to watch them implode again Rabby.

And New Mexico is at #11 7-0 Purdue today.

Love when CSU loses, but man I am pissed and have a bad taste in my mouth from that MTSU game.
