Do you suppose that the opener will not be televised because they wish to get as many people at the game as possible that day? Just a thought...

It wasn't picked up by ROOT, and according to this tweet it wasn't picked up by Campus Insiders either. Not sure if that means it won't be online too.

From what I remember last year, games that weren't televised and weren't available on CI were still available on the GoWyo/MW websites with the home feed, usually radio. I have a better recollection of basketball games than football games, though. I believe this is how we watched the Hawaii game, for example.

Or maybe because it is a 100+ ranked FBS team against a mediocre FCS team would be my guess.

My gut tells me that if this game was going to be televised it would have already been announced...whatever, I'll be there no matter.

Good Morning,

UND alum here and i am looking forward to making the trip up from Breckenridge. It looks like a game at the War should be a good time.

Quick question- is there a specific lot for tailgating?

PS. Not a CSU fan!

Welcome to the board! There are a couple of tailgating options, but your best bet as a visiting fan is checking out tailgate park inside the indoor practice facility. You'll see a bunch of tailgates across the street in the summit view lot, too, but unless you can get a hold of a donor parking pass you won't be able to park there. I would encourage you to stop by some tailgates and say hi! We Wyoming fans are always quick to offer up a beer :thumb:

I figured as much, same with Nodak fans! Thanks for the info and I am really looking forward to the game. Cheers!

I loved your p.s. quote "I'm not a CSU fan !" I like you already, and you are very welcome to come on here and share some insight about the upcoming game. Would love to hear your insight.

Here is my armchair QB analysis of our team:

Last year 5-7 under a new head coach and mostly new assistants. We started slow which was understandable under new leadership. UND ended the year with two solid wins so that was some nice momentum for the off season.

Prior to last season we also had a lot of defections which is also understandable. That said I was surprised that we actually won 5 games with the lack of talent we had left.

The strength of this team will be the defense. Last year we led the Big Sky in overall defense and we have the key players returning and have added some nice additions this off season. The other day it was announced that an FBS CB transfer from Miss. State was added and is eligible for this season. That was huge as the CB spot would be the weakness of the defense.

Offense was bad last year. We lost our 1 & 2 QB's to injury. A freshmen was thrown in for the last four games and he won the last two. Kid's name is Studsrud and currently he is the #1 on the depth chart...although a lot can change from now to 9/5. That said the last two games the offense finally started to move the ball consistently. Who knows how that will translate this year.

We won games with point totals of: 16, 13, 24, 30, 33 (in that order)

Bottom line is if you can score over 30 a win is guaranteed. We are not designed to be a high powered offense.

How are you all liking coach Bohl?

Look for a blue truck with a San Jose State logo on the back window and I'll gladly offer up a couple beers. You guys gave us a nice game to start off last season. Newly transplanted to Wyoming. I'll probably be around the baseball field area.

I guess we'll all have to get to the WAR!

Look foward to it. I got season tix this year. I'm staying neutral on the board about the UND game, being my undergrad is from UND. I'm digging all the potential good weather home games and got a hellofa alumni discount. I am pretty positive about Bohl and this season. I see a Bohl game in December!

They'll be a good crowd of UND fans eager to see how they match up with the Pokes. UNDColorado gives a very fair synopsis of their team. Good on D. Not so much on O.
